Experience Ala Farms
For children and families, there is Målarboden, filled with color, form, and creativity. Here, little hands can create freely, find inspiration, and take something home—both in their hearts and in their hands. In the farm shop, you’ll find games like kubb and boules, and on the sun terrace there is a play kitchen for the youngest visitors. The farm library is filled with books; why not borrow one of our picnic blankets and take your coffee and a book out into nature? Coffee from the farm café never tastes as good as it does under the farm’s oak trees. In early June, our new nature playground will also open—a place for play, movement, and discovery, built with inspiration from nature’s own forms.
Around the farm, our animals move at their own pace. Our Highland cattle graze in the fields, and further up the farm you can visit our Klövsjö sheep. Please don’t feed the animals, but feel free to enjoy their presence! You’ll also find our honeybees here, living in harmony with nature and contributing to life in the landscape. Feel free to follow one of our walking trails around the farm when you visit and experience the best of the Uppland countryside. Here, you’ll find forests, lakes, fields, and grazing pastures – dogs are warmly welcome to join the walk (as long as they are kept on a leash)!
After some time outdoors, you are warmly welcome to sit down in our café for lunch or a fika. We offer seating indoors, in the courtyard, and on our large sun terrace overlooking the cows and pastures. Here, we serve homemade baked goods from Pelle & Marie’s farm bakery, together with coffee roasted by Dennis from the nearby Sigtuna Coffee Roastery. We also offer light lunches for both adults and children. In the farm shop, you’ll find carefully selected products from the farm and the surrounding area—always with a focus on quality, craftsmanship, and flavor.
Ala Farm is a place to be experienced together—at your own pace, close to nature.
